"At the cost of my legs. We should have been more prepared."

"Yeah...hey, don't worry about it, we'll track down that Sannin, Jiraiya-sensei's team mate, she's supposed to be the best healer there is. She'll fix your legs right up."

"Sounds good...Yahiko?"

"Mm?"

"Don't ever scare me like that again."

AU where Yahiko survives Hanzou's betrayal, and saves Nagato before he cripples himself. Konan's alive too, she's just running around out of view, haha.

Felt like sitting down and doing a real picture, and of course the victims were my favourite team, the Ame Orphans. Haha I adore YahiNaga, can't stop drawing them.

Anywho, in this AU the Orphans have defeated Hanzou, Yahiko later becoming the Hidden Rain's lord. They succeed in bringing the war to an end, Yahiko buys Nagato a new dog and with the help of the Akatsuki the world finds peace.
Because that is how it should have happened.

Also later down the line Yahiko tells the third Hokage that Danzou is an ass and he ends up getting fired and locked away along with the other two elders because asses do not sit on the council.
